December 2024 was all about a winter road trip filled with festive vibes and snowy landscapes. I spent Christmas in Colorado, decking out my truck with holiday cheer—wrapping festive lights around my two spare tires mounted on the chase rack in the bed. The soft glow against the falling snow made for a cozy, spirited setup even on the coldest nights.
After the holiday, I headed out, driving through Wyoming’s wintry backroads. Snowflakes swirled steadily, blanketing the open plains and mountain passes as I made my way toward Idaho. The drive was challenging but stunning—endless white horizons, frosted trees, and that quiet hush only a snowfall can bring.
Arriving in Idaho, I was greeted by a full-on snowstorm. It was a true winter welcome, turning the visit into a classic snowy adventure with friends. Between the festive truck setup and the rugged winter conditions, this trip was a memorable way to close out the year—combining holiday spirit, epic driving, and the warmth of friendship amidst the cold.
