In February 2025, we kicked off an epic SoCal desert adventure starting at the iconic Salvation Mountain. From there, we took the dirt roads deeper into the vast desert landscape, making our way to the legendary Bradshaw Trail.
The route offered a perfect mix of rugged desert scenery, from colorful, art-filled mountain backdrops to wide-open stretches of sandy and rocky terrain. The Bradshaw Trail itself was a highlight—fast, flowing desert running with enough technical sections to keep things interesting but still fun and accessible.
As the sun set, we found ourselves racing back in the dark. Thankfully, our Baja Designs off-road lights turned night into day, piercing through the desert darkness and lighting the way as we pushed hard to finish the trail. That late-night run added an extra layer of adrenaline and made for a memorable end to a classic Southern California off-road day.
