In July 2024, I joined the Nor Cal Raptor Runs group for an epic day at the Pismo Dunes. The wide-open sandy terrain was perfect for pushing limits and enjoying some serious off-road fun.
One unforgettable moment was the jump off Truck Hill. From the outside, the truck barely got any air—but inside the cab, it felt like I had launched 15 feet into the air. That wild disconnect between what you see and what you feel behind the wheel made it a seriously thrilling experience.
Great company, challenging dunes, and adrenaline-filled rides made this trip one of the summer’s best adventures.
